Objectives

1. Participants will gain an understanding of assessment, resuscitation and special types of burns.
2. Participants will be able to identify types and percentage of burns.
3. Participants will learn the latest information on transfer and stabilization management of the burn patient.
4. Participants will be able to identify and manage the psychosocial aspect of the burn patient
5. Participants will gain an understanding of nutrition and the burn patient.
