Medical Errors result in hundreds of thousands of deaths, countless injuries and billions of dollars annually; and they put every healthcare professional at risk of being involved in costly lawsuits.
This seminar is geared toward nurses, advanced practice nurses, and nursing administrators who are interested in creating a model of nursing practice that promotes professional nursing and nurses’ ability to effectively act as a patient advocate. It will also benefit Nursing educators who are interested in creating competencies to include patient safety and professional caring into their curriculum, and healthcare providers who want to know more about patient safety and avoid the consequences of a devastating medical error and their costly repercussions.
