Students who have applied for graduation and who expect to receive their degrees January, May or September of 2013 are invited to participate in Honors Convocation and UMDNJ Commencement ceremonies.

NJPAC, 2:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Schoolwide celebration for all BSN, MSN, Post-Master's, DNP & PhD candidates for graduation (Jan., May & Sept) from both campuses.

  • Awards and honors are presented.
  • All grads are announced and presented onstage
  • Student RSVP required.
  • Family and friends invited; admission are tickets required.
  • Photos are taken.
  • Diplomas are NOT presented at this event.
  • Cap & gown ARE required.

University Commencement

Wednesday, May 22, 2013
IZOD Center
10:00 a.m. (students must arrive by 9:00 a.m. to the arena)

University-wide celebration for candidates for graduation from all UMDNJ schools

  • Unlimited seating (no tickets needed).
  • All grads are congratulated onstage by UMDNJ president.
  • Photos are taken.
  • Diplomas presented immediately after the ceremony.
  • Cap & gown ARE required.

Pinning Ceremonies

Various dates-- For graduating BSN students only, each campus has its own ceremony for each graduating cohort (Jan., May and Sept.).
