National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)

Nationally Approved EB guidelines to support United Kingdom National Health Policy. Focus on guidelines for promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health. 

The DARE database (Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness) at the NHS Centre for Reviews and Dissemination

Provides a unique international resource of specially written structured summaries of quality-assessed reviews of health care interventions. These reviews have been identified from searches of electronic databases and hand searching journals. DARE contains 15,000 abstracts of systematic reviews including over 6,000 quality assessed reviews and details of all Cochrane reviews and protocols. The database focuses on the effects of interventions used in health and social care.
