Student Nurse Ambassador Program (SNAP)

Ambassador Application

The Student Ambassadors are student volunteers whose primary role will be to assist The School of Nursing (SN) in providing tutorial services to BSN students through the Center for Academic Success. They will also participate in recruitment programs, such as college fairs and admissions presentations at their respective high schools and/or colleges. They will host dignitaries that visit the School of Nursing, conduct campus tours, and work with the Office of the Dean and the Office of Student Affairs on special events.

The Student Ambassadors will serve as the School of Nursing's premier student liaisons. They will interface with students currently enrolled in SN programs as well as prospective students. This opportunity will afford these select students the opportunity to engage in outreach activities sponsored by The School of Nursing, UMDNJ, and the local community at-large. All ambassadors will be assigned and supervised by the Academic Support Counselor.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Student Nurse Ambassadors Program is to increase student enrollment in the UMDNJ's School of Nursing Programs and to assist nursing students to successfully graduate.
