Flu Vaccine Information
Newark campus H1N1 immunizations - All clinical students and faculty on clinicals are now able to receive the immunization. Please keep in mind that the UMDNJ policy is that flu vaccine (both seasonal and H1N1) is required for all students as part of the health requirements. Students should make arrangements to receive the H1N1 immunization at Student Health Services, DOC 1750 from 8-11:30 and 12:30-5:00, M-F to receive the H1N1 vaccine. Drug Screening
Recently, many clinical sites are requiring drug screening of students and faculty involved in a clinical rotation in their facility. In order to expedite this process, we have indicated this information on the Clinical MOU Information form. If the facility you have chosen requires drug screening, this message will appear.
The cost of the drug screening will be included in the student tuition bill ($34.00). The site will be approved but the MOU will not be sent to the clinical preceptor until the drug screening has been completed and results are reported to the clinical/course instructor. There are no substitutions or waivers for this requirement. Drug screening done at other then the designated laboratories will not be accepted. Faculty must contact the Chief Operating Officer for information regarding the process.
